Gender Empowerment Platform is one of the three main programs at ADM. The Platform will address discrimination of girls and women and violence against women in the Maldives with a vision to reversing suppressive legislation and practices. The Platform will further conduct activities that empower girls and women to be able to participate as equals in society.
Purpose
The main objective of the Platform is to empower girls and women through education, awareness, training and participation. The Platform will work to stop violence and discrimination against girls and women in the Maldives through inclusive programs.
