The main objective of the Justice Institute is to strengthen the criminal justice system by promoting and protecting the rule of law in the Maldives. ADM will monitor and make recommendations to bills, laws and policies that affect the administration of justice. The program will include fair trial monitoring, commenting on proposed legislation, and engaging with the UN\u2019s human rights mechanisms to support the country\u2019s obligations under international conventions and treaties the Maldivian Government is a signatory.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
